2017 AGM was a lively event but again quite a low turnout.It is a chance to voice your opinion and ideas to the officials.We hope more members attend next year!

Fisheries in Bilsthorpe and apparently Clipstone too have had overnight poaching attacks where fish stocks have been removed by netting.Bilsthorpe have had a large number of carp and other species stolen in an overnight raid on Thurs 22/09/16 hundreds of smaller fish also died as a result.
Much appreciated is the work of Mark & Tony to create new peg surfaces around the pond.The new concrete constructed level areas to fish from are a big improvement.And all other work by the bailiffs and those involved.
It is planned that electro-fishing to remove Pike will be done usually,annually. Our fishery now has to be registered with CEFAS who will give us a regstration number that is required by the EA before any work can commence. The paperwork has been submitted to CEFAS and we are waiting for notification of our registration number
Redevlopment of the mill is well on its way now with appartments and business premises coming on nicely.
